Sencha is a fine, handcrafted Japanese green tea, produced without use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers. It is grown by the Morimoto family of Kyushu, southern Japan, using the Okumidori cultivar. It offers a robust, vegetal palate with minimal astringency, and a naturally sweet aftertaste.
